Mobile Containers—The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (RSA Conference 2017)
This presentation covers the premise of mobile containers and their inherent limitations, from app level to OS level containers. As part of the presentation and in coordination with Google, the presenters will discuss issues recently uncovered within the Android for Work framework and provide a demonstration of techniques used by attackers to bypass the secure separation built into such a solution.

Yair Amit, Adi Sharabani
Yair Amit is Co-Founder and CTO at Skycure, leading the company’s research and vision and overseeing its R&D center. Amit has been active in the security industry for more than a decade with his research regularly covered by media outlets and presented in security conferences around the world. Prior to co-founding Skycure, Amit managed the Application Security and Research Group at IBM, joining through the acquisition of Watchfire. At IBM, Amit led the research and implementation of IBM’s next-generation application security technology. Amit holds a B.Sc., summa cum laude, from Tel Aviv University in bioinformatics.
Adi Sharabani is CEO and co-founder at Skycure. A world-renowned expert in enterprise software and mobile security, Adi is a Top-Rated Speaker at RSA and other security conferences. Before launching Skycure, Adi built and led Watchfire’s security group and later oversaw security for IBM software products. Adi holds more than 25 patents and earned a BSc in Mathematics and Physics from Tel Aviv University. Committed to cybersecurity education, he played a key role in the vision and implementation of the cyberdefense curriculum for high school students in Israel.
