RSA Innovation Sandbox 2018, is one of the platform where information security startups can showcase their research and innovation. For the past 12 years, it is working as interface for cybersecurity companies to promote their new technology and connect with venture capitalists, industry veterans and experts at RSA Conference. This year, out of 10 finalists, RSA Conference awarded BigID as the Most Innovative Startup 2018 with their innovative solution for privacy risk under GDPR and Fortanix as the runner up for their excellence in Runtime Encryption.

Process Of Selection

This year RSA Innovation Sandbox team is working with Crunchbase as Exclusive media partner. Using the data provided by Crunchbase, RSA conference has calculated that in the past five years, top 10 finalists have received investments of more than $1.25billion and 15 acquisitions collectively. In the final round of the contest, each finalist have to give a presentation to jury panel that includes, Asheem Chandra, Partner, Greylock Partners, Gerhard Eschelbeck, Vice President Security and Privacy Engineering, Google, Patrick Heim, Operating Partner and Chief Information Security Officer, ClearSky and Paul Kocher, Entrepreneur/Researcher.

BigID- Named as “RSAC Most Innovative Startup 2018”
